Tina Valencia LBP Front Row Portfolio Winner!
WAHOO!!! I WON THE GRAND PRIZE FOR THE LBP FRONT ROW PORTFOLIO CONTEST! The contest was to recreate an inspirational moment from LBP Front row in Miami, aka the hair festival of epic proportions. Surrounded by art. Street, hair, comedy, performance. They are all art forms in my eyes and I loved that lbp front row gave me the full immersion. My inspiration came from many moments so to narrow it down almost seems unfair. The “moment” that caught my attention was a line drawing by Adrian Avila in the artist gallery. As crafty as I am, my drawings, head sheets etc. always look like they came from a 5-year-old, so I hold a lot of admiration for this particular art form. My submission is my interpretation of this drawing with a hint of inspiration from James Pecis and a sprinkle of Smith & Cult.
